With this blog I continue sharing my personal secrets to owning your career and how to strive for career contentment. This blog is about attention management. We live in a world where our attention is challenged on multiple layers. Before I dive into the topic on how to manage your attention let´s define what attention management is. After this, I establish a practice of behaviors that will allow you to accomplish this goal. The first topic is how to boost your focus. Secondly increasing your ability to concentrate is another skill necessary when it comes to managing your attention, let´s look at ways to do this. The third pillar is being more mindful. Being more mindful helps you focus on the areas where you spend most of your time and energy and make changes if needed. Last but not least by creating ways to increase your productivity, you can get into the flow of what you need to do daily. Getting in the flow requires you to be focused and mindful of the task at hand. In conclusion, in today's busy world full of distractions, it is easy to lose yourself and the ability to pay attention to what is important to you. As a career and leadership coach, I can support you on your way to increasing self-leadership to managing your attention.

Effective Leadership Begins with You – 4 areas to focus on
To be an effective leader, you must first be a leader of yourself. Belief in yourself is a tremendous asset to leadership. Your words and your actions can lead others to great heights – but only if you believe that you, too, have powers that are strong and which you strive to develop. To be an example for effective leadership and to make others want to follow, you must develop the following qualities of leadership within yourself: Stand for something – Be an example for others – Be a mentor – Always be on a path of self-discovery.
All leaders must take a journey within and discover their values and why those are their values. You can’t become a leader from a place of weakness. Internal guidance is necessary to navigate through the obstacles in life and bring you to ultimate success.
If you need support to identify your inner compass (your values), Setting up a fruitful mentoring relationship or want to deep dive into your self further as part of your leadership role my coaching will support you to achieve your targets faster.
